Nishana John

Nishana was introduced to the nonprofit sector when she volunteered as a human resources assistant at Mi Casa Resource Center. In 2015, she joined Mi Casa as a Human Resources Coordinator and is currently their Director of Human Resources & Administration. Nishana is passionate about using her skills to give back to the community and to advance nonprofits in the Denver Metro Area. Having grown up in India, learning classical Indian music, DCC’s mission to “inspire children from diverse cultural backgrounds by fostering harmony in music” resonated with her and she wanted to be a part of furthering the mission. Nishana has a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership specializing in Human Resources from Regis University and is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Nishana is married with two young daughters who keep her on her toes.
