
Raul Dominguez
Conductor
Dr. Raul Dominguez is in his first season as a Timberline conductor with the Denver Children’s Choir. He looks forward to a year of making music with the future voices of Denver and getting to know the Denver Children’s Choir family. He is also the Director of Choral Activities at Regis University where he conducts the Concert Choir and University Choir. Through his research focus, the choral music of the United Mexican States, he seeks to provide choirs with the necessary resources to facilitate artistic performances of Mexican choral music. Prior to Regis, Raul graduated with his Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder and earned his Master of Music from Ithaca College. He also taught at Clear Lake High School for four years in his hometown of Houston, TX after graduating from Oklahoma City University with his Bachelor of Music degree. His ensembles have sung alongside the Houston Symphony, Houston Chamber Choir, at Carnegie Hall, on the balcony of the Colorado State Capitol for the inauguration of Governor Jared Polis, and with RuPaul’s Drag Race season 11 winner, Yvie Oddly.
