Join us this summer for a spectacular week of music making, skill building, and community connecting. Up your music literacy game, refine your musical ear, and participate in choir clinics, choir games, master classes and more. Your musical skills are guaranteed to grow by the end of the week!
This program will be led by DCC’s Travis Branam and Mercedes Campana, who together have decades of choral experience and are experts at teaching musicianship and vocal skills at all levels. Read more about them below.
Who: Middle School and High School Students.
When: June 30th-July 3rd, 8:45am-3:45pm, with a final show at 3:00pm on Thursday, July 3rd

Lunch: Please bring your own lunch daily.
Cost: $350 for the week. Tuition assistance available for those receiving reduced or free-lunch at school.

Travis Branam is a Lead Conductor for the Denver Children’s Choir advanced and premier level choirs. In his 15 years in Denver, Travis has directed professional youth choirs of all levels, served as an Assistant Director for the Colorado Symphony Chorus, and even given a TED Talk! Travis is perhaps most well-known for creating VOCO, a modern alternative to traditional choirs where youth participants sing and rap alongside the artists who write the songs they learn. Travis is looking forward to helping youth expand their musical skills, passions, and interests through this summer camp!
Mercedes Campana is a singer/songwriter and a conductor for the Denver Children’s Choir. She leads four different ensembles, beginning with the training choirs and up through DCC’s Premier Ensembles, and is so excited to be part of the summer choir camp this year! Merce is a composer, arranger, teacher, and featured artist on Spotify, based in Denver, Colorado. She is a proud alumna of the Denver Children’s Choir and East High School. Merce studied Contemporary Composition at Humber College in Ontario where she earned a B.M. in 2012.
