Please partner with The Denver Children’s Choir by becoming a Distinguished Member of The Judge Wiley Y. Daniel Memorial Fund to secure the future of DCC’s mission to build trust among communities and create a safe, equitable environment where any Denver child can learn and grow.
The Honorable Judge Wiley Young Daniel was the former Chief Judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and one of Denver’s pioneering Black judges – being the first African American judge to be appointed to the federal bench. Wiley was an accomplished musician who played the piano, sang in his church’s gospel choir and played the hand bells. He also loved listening and dancing to music. As a long-term board member of the Denver Children’s Choir, Wiley inspired and guided the Choir and worked passionately toward ensuring that all children in the Denver Metro area have access to high quality music instruction. His grandchildren sang in the Choir for many years.
We honor Judge Wiley Y. Daniel and invite you to become a Distinguished Member of the Judge Wiley Y. Daniel Memorial Fund by making a pledge for the coming three years at any level.
