The Denver Children’s Choir unites the children of greater Denver’s widely diverse communities through rigorous ensemble music instruction. Children of all races, cultures, and socioeconomic backgrounds come together to sing, study, and perform choral music. Its comprehensive choral music education program brings Denver-area children of all ages together in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Our Neighborhood Choir Program offers beginning through advanced-intermediate choral training. Singers are offered the opportunity to learn how to sing, read music, and perform, and range in age from 7 years through high school.
The Neighborhood Choir Program includes Timberline – an entry-level, beginning ensemble for singers new to singing and reading music; Alpine – an advanced-beginning level ensemble where singers gain confidence in singing with a healthy vocal technique, gain sight-singing skills, and become more comfortable holding their part in an ensemble; and the Summit Singers – DCC’s advanced-intermediate level ensemble where singers learn more challenging repertoire, perform more regularly, and confidently hold their part when singing 3-part music.
